What is the most important “job” in your life right now?
Finding balance – between time for myself, my son and my work. All of them are important for me to feel complete. It is just learning how to get the right balance that is the most difficult and challenging job at the moment.
What is your key to feeling beautiful no matter how busy you are?
If I have time and can splurge, getting my hair blown out and a mani/pedi is amazing! If I can’t splurge then a nice bubble bath, a face mask and jazz! But the reality is, most days I don’t get a lot of time to myself. I cannot complain though, since spending time with my little boy snuggling and breastfeeding is truly magical.
Do you have a go-to nail polish color?
Anything pale pink or neutral with a touch of sparkle. And I love having one nail on each finger a different color than the rest to stand out.
Best drink to go with a mani?
A strawberry lemonade poptail from pixsweet dipped into champagne. And the 3d pop would be in the shape of a nail polish bottle! Now how fun is that?!
What is the last book you read?
Do the Kind Thing by Daniel Lubetzky
Favorite perfume?
That is so tough for me since I worked in the fragrance industry and have always been obsessed with perfume from a very early age! Just ask my mother whose favorite perfume I spilled all over her bedroom floor when I was only 6 yrs old attempting to dab some on my wrist. At the moment I would say it is a tie between Diptyque Eau Duelle and Le Labo The Noir 29.
Best way to stay youthful looking?
Eating well, doing things you love, laughing at yourself, and being around people who lift you up!
Who is your style icon?
Olivia Palermo
Favorite item in your closet?
My wedding dress
Best name for a pet?
My husband and I always joke about getting two cats or dogs from the same litter and naming them Duran Duran.
Could you ever go vegan?
I did for almost a year! Very eye opening experience.
TV show you can binge watch.
I loved Suits and recently was obsessed with Big Little Lies! However in terms of binge watching my husband and I actually did this with Breaking Bad. We literally would take a whole Saturday and watch an entire season! Of course that was pre-baby and start-up life when we actually had the luxury of time!
Would you ever live abroad?
I lived in Amsterdam for close to 5 years. It is actually where I met my husband who is originally from Helsinki, Finland. I highly value cultural exposure and experiences and hope to raise Aiden in an environment where travel and living abroad is the norm!
