Do you have any hidden talents?
I have hand modeled for Simple Human–I swear! I’m a certified personal trainer and I’m an excellent juicer. I juice A LOT. I have a routine.
Do you have a go-to nail polish color?
Yes! People literally stop me on the street to ask what it is. It’s a combination of two colors. The first coat is Waltz by Essie and the second and third coats are Truly Yours Carnation by Priti NYC. Don’t forget to start with Nailtiques formula 2 and end with Seche Vite!
Best drink to go with a mani?
Green juice and water.
What is your go-to restaurant and/or bar in town?
I just moved to West Hollywood so my go-to right now is Craig’s. It has this old New York charm and kind of this Mafioso vibe. I ONLY order martinis, specifically a: “Dirty Bombay martini with blue-cheese-stuffed olives,” which I can never say without messing up! The food is always outstanding and they have vegan options! Having grown up on the Westside where nobody notices or cares about celebrities, it’s so funny to watch the paparazzi perched outside and everyone eyeing you when you walk in to figure out who you are. I always get such a laugh when I go there.
Favorite fad workout (if any)?
I barely have time to walk my dog, who has time to exercise?! Does carrying groceries count?
Beauty product(s) you cannot live without?
Priti NYC nail polish, Kerastase hair conditioning mask, Batia & Aleeza hair gel, and one powerful blow drier.
Favorite perfume?
Emporio Armani Her. I’ve been wearing it for 15 years. At this point they should just start calling it Emporio Armani Jillian.
Favorite hair style?
When straight: big, beautiful, soft hair with lots of movement and waves. When curly: every so often my hair will participate and I’ll get a relaxed looking curl. Sometimes I wish I had blonde hair so I could do a front braid—it just doesn’t look like much with brown hair!
Best way to stay youthful looking?
30spf every day. And Dr. Daniel Barrett. Just sayin’…
Who is your WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday)?
Amy Landecker. I met her once at a party I’m pretty sure I was invited to accidentally, and fell in love.
What is your favorite type of pie?
Pumpkin and Pecan, OF COURSE A LA MODE!
Mac or PC?
Mac. I wouldn’t have started my business without it. It literally taught me how to edit video.
Would you ever wear your nails pointy?
I’m sorry, no. I just don’t get that trend. I’m calling it: people are going to regret this trend big time.
Buy a cake or make one?
One word: Magnolia’s.
Could you ever go vegan?
I love to eat vegan food but I truly believe that my body needs meat and cheese. So the answer is yes, for the right amount of money.
What is your favorite Bellacures service?
Let’s get real. A manicure is not a manicure without at LEAST 10 minutes of massage.
