Lauren was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is a Baylor bear, newlywed, and lover of all things fashion. Lauren interned for Pink Tartan showroom in NYC, and worked in the Fine Apparel buying office for Neiman Marcus Direct before she started writing for Lolo Magazine. She also does personal shopping, which she loves! Her hobbies are running, baking, and traveling.

Take care of your skin! Sunscreen, anti-aging products…and sleep!

For gel: “chic white”

What is your favorite type of pie?

Apple pie – ALWAYS a la mode!!!

Favorite item in your closet?

I’m currently obsessed with a pair of light-wash Madewell flair jeans I recently got. They are high-waisted and super comfortable.

What is your ideal Saturday like?

Sleep in late and then work out with my husband. Come home and make chocolate chip pancakes. Meet up with my girlfriends for some shopping or mani/pedis. Head to the pool and have a light lunch there. Invite friends over at night for drinks and grilling out and spending time together.

Who do you admire most?

My dad. How have you selflessly loved your wife and kids so well for all these years, and never cease to keep giving?
