Mara Ferrerira is a lifestyle blogger based in Los Angeles. Her blog, M Loves M,  is a lifestyle blog focused on a classic, feminine and fun approach to style, food, entertaining, and living. She started the blog in 2009 as a creative outlet and online diary while she was working towards law school. Once she started blogging, though, she realized how much she loved writing and the fashion industry, and changed her career focus. She has worked as a Buyer and Stylist for several years and then in Marketing for a shoe brand. M Loves M has been featured on The Glitter Guide, Huffington Post, Refinery29, and in several issues of People StyleWatch Mag and Marie Claire, including being named one of the “Blogs We Love” in the Vanity Fair September 2014 issue. M Loves M has partnered with brands like Nordstrom, J.Crew, Kate Spade, Dolce & Gabbana, Ted Baker, ASOS, Pottery Barn, and T.J. Maxx.

What is your key to feeling beautiful no matter how busy you are?

A little lipstick and a fresh mani totally makes me feel a little more put together!

Do you have any hidden talents?

I can wiggle my ears!

Pedicure! During my pregnancy I wasn’t been able to reach my feet so it was so important!

Do you have a go-to nail polish color?

I love Essie Russian Roulette. It’s the perfect red!

Do you ever get nail art?

I love nail art! I got palm trees before my trip to Hawaii and they were so fun!

What is your go-to restaurant and/or bar in town?

Scopa in Venice is my favorite!

What is the last book you read?

I’ve been reading the Elena Ferrante books and I love them! They make me want to plan a trip to Italy!
