What is the most important “job” in your life right now?
My most important job right now is learning and loving me. Making that my priority is the center of all things in my life.
What is your key to feeling beautiful no matter how busy you are?
My key to feeling beautiful is to always be gentle with myself. Mentally, emotionally and physically. That means saying nice things to myself, forgiving myself, and making your mani-pedis and spa days a non-negotiable.
What is your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is being able to see, understand and communicate multiple perspectives.
Is there a hidden talent you wish you had?
Maybe being a Hip Hop Violinist…

My go-to bar is The Perch downtown, the view is beautiful and the cocktails are delicious.

Spinning!! I fell in love with the party and burn the first time I rode.

Broken Open by Elisabeth Lesser and Ego is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday.

It depends on how I’m feeling, one weekend it could be super girly florals and another it could be all black, Afropuffs and a bold lip.

Ahhh there are so many! My mothers, sisters, Michelle Obama, Serena Williams, Oprah, and Madeleine Albright.

Would you ever wear your nails pointy?
I have and I painted them matte black. I felt sexy so I’d definitely do it again.

Would you ever live abroad?
Yes! Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, I’ve lived there before and I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Who do you admire most? What I would you want to ask this person?
My father. How he has the stamina to be so amazing all the time and what the key is so that I can be that for my children.
